Programming workshops for industrial culture

Project support and workshops for the BKM program ‘Inkult’

The aim of the INIK programming workshops is the methodical preparation for the implementation of the BKM funding program ‘Industrial Culture’ in Lusatia. With the support program ‘Industrial Culture’ (abbreviated: Inkult), both monument preservation and cultural-economic aspects are to be taken into account. As part of the project, the INIK GmbH defined the first pilot projects in the Saxon and Brandenburg part of Lusatia and coordinated those with the local stakeholders. This also included supervisory support with the application. On one hand, it is important to preserve and carefully renovate industrial buildings that are already listed or worth preserving. On the other hand, the subsequent use should be made possible, in particular for the cultural and creative industries, in order to ensure long-term use of the facilities with the economic reactivation. The ‘Inkult’ funding program is based on the provisions of the Coal Regions Investment Act.
