Construction of the fire and disaster control center

Luckau is a beautiful old city. So anyone who builds here from scratch must adapt to the grown environment. This played a decisive role in the construction of the fire and disaster control center. The new building does not want any restrained inconspicuousness – it wants to communicate with its environment. Therefore it was important to respond to the urban and natural context. The design implemented in 2018 was based on the result of the first prize of an architecture competition. The building was implemented in a hybrid construction of solid, monolithic masonry and timber frame construction. The architecture is characterized by its high design quality paired with high functionality that fully meets the users’ needs.
