Residence use play a key role in the context of factory re-use, revitalization of inner city brownfields and former industrial sites. INIK therefore looks for ideas in the fields of residential new building and adaptive re-use for new residences in industrial cities and suburbs. This includes all architectural work phases. The aim is to specifically look for existing market needs of selected target groups and new strategies of community funding. INIK-project examples of the recent years are House Mönch in Hähnchen and the joint building venture Karlstraße in Cottbus.
