Explorer’s compass for energy factory Knappenrode
Travel guide to the new exhibition
-0,1

With the modification of the Knappenrode energy factory and the completion of the new exhibition, an "exhibition catalogue" has been designed. In addition to the route guidance system, it also connects the factory (with exhibition and surrounding former manufactory buildings) and its outdoor area (with large appliances, cooling tower, open-cast mines, tertiary forest and the lake) with the workmen’s dwellings (former Werminghoff). However, the main priority for the hiking guide is to serve as a guideline and thus to provide a decision-making aid for the visitors. A visit to the Knappenrode energy factory can thus be planned individually, depending on interests, available time or mobility requirements.
