The Trailer for Film Festival in Cottbus
Trailer for Festival of East-European Cinema in Cottbus
80

Each year the film festival in Cottbus gives comprehensive review of the actual film production in the whole Eastern Europe. Since a few years is Vattenfall Europe engaged as the main sponsor of the festival. The goal of the INIK’s project was to show the connection between Vattenfall as the „regional energy supplier” and the festival as international film celebrity in Cottbus. With the help of quickly changing animated pictures the INIK’s trailer tells the story about the way of energy: from the brown-coal surface mine, through the power stations and the power supply system to the cinema projector and the silver screen in Cottbus. For the first time the trailer was shown during the opening ceremony of the film festival 2006.
