The aim of the project was to develop an urban planning concept for the city of Wadern. In addition iso Marktforschung and INIK had to study in particular the structures of retail and service. Both aspects had to be combained with the urban planning strategy. The project was developed in close consultation with local leaders. With a total of 17,000 inhabitants Wadern is one of the shrinking cities in the western states of Germany.
