Bridging in Eberswalde
A new link between industrial urban sites
60

The City of Eberswalde planed a new link for pedestrians and cyclists between the station and the southern neighbourhoods. The task of INIK GmbH was to create different types of bridge designs and to demonstrate their urban potentials. The aim of the bridge project was to bring Schwärzetal and Finowtal in direct relation and to foster tourism in both urban spaces. The project was part of the integrated urban development concept (INSEK) of Eberswalde.
