Together with the German Association of Architects and the Brandenburg Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport, the INIK GmbH has evaluated recommendations and approaches for the historic and environmentally sensitive restoration of historic buildings. These proposals were published in the publication of BDA "Retrofitting: thinking in the area". The book focuses on individual energetic solutions for individual buildings and energetic neighborhood development approaches. In this regard, economic aspects to finance the energy-related measures were discussed.
