The AWE exhibition pavilion built in 1967 is not only a significant structure of local identification in the City of Eisenach but also an vital testament of the economic history of the city. Following the documentation of the monument and associated research activities accomplished by INIK GmbH the next steps started: The physical protection of the building and the necessary repair measurements. In that context a long-term and sustainable use and renovation concept needed to be set up. To do so the State of Thüringen, the City of Eisenach and the owner of the building were involved in the process.
