Feasibility and re-use

One of the Modern Movement architectural highlights of the City of Luckenwalde is the former municipal bath. The listed monument is a 1928 design by the architect Hans Hertlein. The owner LUBA GmbH aimed at preserving and re-using the unique structure. In the recent past first conversion ideas have been set up. In addition the external walls were dried up, the roof has been reconstructed and the existing sauna has been modernized. It was INIK's  task to assess the feasibility of the conversion of the historic building into a canteen kitchen in comparison to two alternative locations.
