10

The project seminar " Boyacá - Patrimonio Industrial" dealt with the industrial development and the current situation in Colombia, the Colombian Andes and the Boyacá region. The first part of the project presented the general discussion on the subject and illustrated the situation in Colombia and the region Duitama - Sogamoso / Boyacá with regard to the subject of "industrial culture". After that, the basic trends were sketched and the dynamics of Colombia put in the overall context of the Latin America. The task of the main part of the project was to examine the situation of industrial culture, industrial development, and related questions of industrial structures, urban development, the work culture, regional development, urban monument protection and building culture. This gave the insight into the past, present and future development of the industrial culture in Colombia.
