Development concept for the establishment of a centre for innovations in the cultural heritage of construction

The superior alliance “Innovation and structural transformation / WIR! - Pioneers of the Vogtland region” has the common aim of building a model region for the development and application of innovative technologies for the preservation and use of the building cultural heritage in the Vogtland between East Thuringia and West Saxony. The development concept for the establishment of a facility for the development of innovations in the field of building conservation is a subproject of this alliance. The funding programme “Innovation and structural transformation / WIR!”, launched by the German Federal Ministry of Research in 2017, is intended to support the development of structurally weak regions in Eastern Germany.
