The aim of the INIK research project "Fábrica de Licores en Tunja" was, on the one hand, to raise the awareness of the students, the residents and the workers in the city of Tunja / Boyacá for the topic of industrial culture and on the other hand, to find out if the liquor company can contribute to the improvement of the residents quality of life. After selection of the location the cultural, historical and social values of the factory were presented and made tangible by structural and planning interventions. First, the factory and the surrounding district were analyzed. On the basis of the analysis a solution and a project were developed. The results of the project were presented at the conference in August 2013 "XXI Ciudad y Territorio del Siglo , Reto y perspectivas ".
