Prof. Rolf Kuhn

(*1946) Study of Urban Planning at the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering Weimar (HAB). In the 1970s scientific assistant at the Institute for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Civil Engineering Academy of the GDR in Berlin. 1987 appointed as honorary lecturer at the HAB Weimar and professor at the Civil Engineering Academy. In 1987 Rolf Kuhn became the director of the newly reopened Bauhaus in Dessau. After reunification of Germany he organized the "First Summer School at the Bauhaus Dessau" in 1992. From 1994 to 1998 he was director of the "Bauhaus Dessau Foundation." 1998 to 2012 he headed the International Building Exhibition (IBA) in Lusatia as managing director. Today he is the head of the IBA Study House. Rolf Kuhn is a member of the INIK‘s Advisory Board. Since 2012 he is INIK coach, too (source: B. Pritzkuleit).
