The former “Station of young technicians and natural scientists“ in the City of Lübbenau recently became a new children, families and youth center. The Cottbus based office of mayerwittig Architekten und Stadtplaner GbR commissioned INIK GmbH to work on the landscape design for the site. The project is based on a rearrangement of the many buildings and the open area. Current owner is the AWO - Regionalverband Brandenburg Süd e.V.. The target groups of the center are among others low-income families, younger people and disabled persons. The „Tourist Station“ aims at visitors of the nearby Spreewald and the entire region of Lower Lusatia.
