Within the next years the former coal mine of Cottus-North will become the “East Lake”. To understand and use the lake as a potential of urban development the City of Cottbus is currently preparing the foundation of a purpose federation. The “Ostsee” management also contains project tasks in the field of communication and marketing accomplished by the Institute of New Industrial Culture.
