For 20 years, the local thermal power station ensured the production of district heating in the city of Cottbus, which is owned by Stadtwerke Cottbus GmbH. Considering the aim to supply climate-friendly district heating in the future in Cottbus, the heating plant will be modernized. The lignite-fired units of the plant are to be replaced by new gas engines. As part of the modernization process of the thermal power station in Cottbus, INIK GmbH works on the new street and traffic planning, the new entrance planning and also the connection between the new and old buildings on site. The aim is to enhance traffic plus easy drive in and out for the users and also to provide a safe condition for workers.
