Project partners

In the past years within the framework of numerous projects the institute worked together with diverse extern experts from Germany and Poland:


Dr. Konrad Dobrowolski

(*1970) studied architecture at Politechnika Wroclawska. Until 1997 assistance of Prof. Zbigniew Bać at „APA Habitat” in Wrocław. 1998 – 2003 leading designer of „Archipelag – architecture atelier”. Until 2003 tutor und university lecturer in the department of urban planning, Politechnika Wroclawska. 2002 doctoral degree at Politechnika Wroclawska. 2002 foundation of the architectural office of Archikon Dobrowolski APPA in Brzeg. Since 2003 lecturer and senator of Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa w Nysie. International coordinator of the Erasmus-Program and the German-Polish Bachelor Program (in cooperation with Hochschule Lausitz / Cottbus).


Karolina Hettchen, MSc./MA

(*1979) Studied Marketing and Management at Politechnika Wrocławska, Word Heritage Studies and Industrial Engineering & Management at BTU Cottbus. Scholarship of Rotary Club Berlin, Socrates/Erasmus-stipend und scholarship of the State of Brandenburg. Internships by INTERACCES Inc. USA. and international Cultural Centre Crakow. Since September 2007 scientific assistant at Lusatian University of Applied Science.


Sabine Winkler, Dipl. Ing. (FH)

(*1965) trained as lithograph, studied history and history of arts at University of Saarland and architecture at  Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes. Assistantship at the architecture office Architekturbüro Lück+Otto Saarbrücken, bbvh architectuur Rotterdam, Architekturbüro Walter Singer Saarbrücken. Since 2005 a freelancer.
