INIK supports BLDAM’s preservation an documentation project

The Brandenburg State Office of Preservation Planning and Monument Protection (BLDAM) currently sets up the “Denkmaltopographie” in Spree-Neiße County. Together with the list of monuments the „Denkmaltopographie“ is the groundwork of preservation efforts in the city municipalities. In addition it is an important source of information for students, home owners, planners, architects and researchers. As a cooperation partner the Institute of New Industrial Culture supports the BLDAM State Office to document the industrial culture in the region as part of the “Denkmaltopographie”. In the framework of several past projects INIK was able to collect different information on historic industrial fabrics that can be integrated in the BLDAM’s project.
