INIK Strategy:
The concept is to turn the station building, which so far has been used only in parts, into a gate to the city. This would be accomplished by introducing multiple new uses while maintaining the current function of the building as a reception hall. The concept for the building and the neighboring plots will require communication and close cooperation—yet to be organized—of all participants.

Background:
Despite its location on a railroad dam immediately in the center of town, the reception hall, which is of outstanding architectural value, has not been sufficiently explored and cannot be used to its full capacity. Because of its problematic “island” location, the station has been reduced to its function as a reception hall. However, this use only requires a small part of the building.
