INIK Strategy:
The concept aims at developing an industrial park in the sense of a mixed-use commercial area. Realization of the project is based upon organizing joint action by all partners in favor of a common future of the ODRA factory as an industrial site. The civic administration of Nowa Sól shows interest in developing the location.

Background:
The ODRA Thread Factory was among the most significant of Polish textile mills. Currently it is in a state of insolvency. The valuable industrial complex extends over more than 20 hectares and consists of more than 50 different buildings, which today are largely in poor condition. Meanwhile some buildings have been sold to private investors, a situation that hinders the development of a unifying concept for the factory. Intensive communications among the several parties will be indispensable.
