Aims

The non-profit Institute of New Industrial Culture INIK carries out applied research and development on architecture, urbanism and regional planning.

Additional inter-disciplinary fields of research are production proceses, social aspects, the influence of economic factors and the artistic reflection of the industrial. Research projects focus on periperal industrial locations.

The institute is active mainly in border areas between Berlin, Poznań, Dresden and Wrocław. Offices of the institute are in Cottbus and Wrocław.
