New Industrial Culture

The concept of new industrial culture describes the area in which the Institute operates. The central objective is to develop the scope of discussion on industrial culture.

New industrial culture addresses the changing cultural values of industrialisation, and focuses on the gradual transformation of the industrial economy. This means that the industrialisation is not viewed retrospectively, but is seen more as a process which will continue to determine social values in the future.

In the course of the discussions on new industrial culture, it was recognised that industrialisation will not be displaced by the growing impact of the impulses generated by the services economy. It seems more likely that the working models of the industrial society and the services society will co-exist alongside each other.

The goal of the work of the Institute of New Industrial Culture is therefore to respond to the growing need for intensive studies of the industrial transformation process and to improve the provision of practical research in this field.
