INIK strategy:
The INIK’s strategy proposes successive development of a master plan for the west part of the Industrial Park Schwarze Pumpe. The spatial reorder and the development of the area should take place in stages. The goal is to establish a new service center. In this area should settle foremost supply service centers for the production plants of the industrial park.


Background:
The Industrial Park Schwarze Pumpe is the economic center of the region Spremberg / Hoyerswerda. Since 1955 Schwarze Pumpe was developed as the biggest industrial area of Lusatia and the central location for coal-refinement in the GDR. After political changes of 1989 the important changes took place in Schwarze Pumpe too. The Industrial Park changed essentially in the course of reorganization. 2002 a project group „Standortentwicklung“assumed the development and marketing of the Industrial Park. This Park aims at industrial establishments. The area counts 700 ha. 180 ha must be marketed. Today 80 companies use the synergy potential of the Industrial Park Schwarze Pumpe.
